Recommendation from some locals to us Wisconsin travelers. Everything was fresh and extremely well done. Brussel sprout appetizer was flavorful. The Scallop/Bacon risotto was perhaps the best I have ever had in the States. If you are in the area, Oysterman IS the stop!

Date night. Discovered the perfect spot in Scituate. Newly opened a few months ago. Plenty of parking in parking lot. Great ambiance, atmosphere and brightly decorated. Nice bar and comfortable seating. Clean, well lit and not too noisy. Friendly greeting at the door. Our waitress, Kendra was wonderful and excellent! Attentive, friendly, courteous, polite and professional. Servers were great as well. Food and drinks served with perfect timing. Awesomely prepared, good portions and awesomely delicious. We ordered the buffalo cauliflower for appetizer, clam chowder and the fish tacos and oysters po’boy for entrees. The buffalo cauliflower lightly battered with just enough heat and blue cheese crumble. The clam chowder was the best. Just enough potatoes, seasoned perfectly, deliciously loaded with plenty of tender clams. The fish tacos and oysters p’boy, lightly battered, fresh and tasty. Mango sushi was fabulous! The whole meal was refreshing and filling. Compliments to the chef. Highly recommend. Will definitely return to try out the rest of the menu.

Not only is the sushi here some of the best I've ever had in my life, but the staff and the vibe is exceptional. One individual especially stands out to us the most, and that is Mars Nader. My wife Jacquelyn and I simply adore her! Her Knowledge, her sense of humor, and the speed at which she serves her customers is second to none. Mars is a one of a kind gem, and will always keep us coming back for more! We love The Oysterman!

Visited this summer with a friend and sat at the bar. We had a great time with the staff, food and drinks. Came back on Sunday after a wake and the hostess was awesome. We had a group of 6, but no reservation. She worked with us to get a table - Thank you! As before the staff was awesome,, drinks were great (Old Fashion was very tasty) and the food was incredible. We really enjoyed our time. No pressure to move us out... Will be back - looking forward to me next visit!

Enjoyed a nice late summer brunch on the patio. The eggs Benedict was quite good, with good roasted potato cubes and some nice fruit. The bloody Mary was rather bland, so I won't be ordering that again. Nothing special on the brunch menu though.

Our first time here since moving to Norwell from Dallas. The food was outstanding. We had 3 sushi rolls, the burger, and the wedge salad. So.. yeah.. we tried it all (babysitter). Everything was delicious. What really set our night apart was the service. Angela was incredible. Also, another guy working tonight. They were just impeccable. What an outstanding first impression. Can't wait to go back. 10/10.
